If your business or corporation works with schools or youth programs....

...this is a wonderful opportunity to do something that really makes a difference.

Crisis Management Institute (CMI) can help you partner with schools and educators by providing the necessary tools to help them cope with the challenges facing students and parents affected by Hurricane Katrina. We have taken our traditional training segments used for corporate partnerships, and created a specific program for the relief efforts and recovery efforts following the national crisis left behind by Hurricane Katrina. We continue to offer our standard programs, but ask you now to focus on this urgent situation.

CMI, under the direction of nationally renowned author, crisis responder and trainer Cheri Lovre, can help corporations that are looking for a different approach to assist the many people impacted by Hurricane Katrina. Ms. Lovre provided support in the aftermath of Columbine, 9/11 and the tsunami most recently, and brings 30 years of experience in this field.

Many corporations have made very generous monetary contributions to assist the people in gulf coast communities. CMI has a different offering by providing schools the much needed trauma training for counselors and school staff and emotional support for over 100,000 displaced students that will be or have enrolled in schools across America and Canada. This is a terrific way to help you partner with your schools and provide solutions for school administrators, counselors, teachers and parents. CMI will bring many strategies and techniques that will assist educators with this challenging and dynamic environment for the impacted students, families and school personnel.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the challenges our communities face in absorbing displaced children are dynamic, complex and challenging. Crisis Management Institute has been providing crisis response training and an-site response to schools for 30 years. We partnered with the American School Counselors Association to provide a one-hour "webinar" which was live web streamed to anyone who tuned in from anywhere in the US. We immediately had it archived so it continues to be available to anyone who wishes to watch any of the four segments. PDF files provide handouts that follow the presentation.
Do you want to thank a district for their business? Is it time for your business to give back to the community and do you want to give back in a way that will have long term benefits for students and children in your community?

We offer a variety of training packages available for corporate sponsorship. If you have partnered with a school, a school district, or multiple districts, contact us on how to give back to your districts through offering them the gift of web-based crisis management trainings and webinars. Our topics range from:

• Bullying
• School Climate
• Crisis Response and Catastrophic Event
• Stabilizing Your School in the Aftermath of Catastrophic Events
• Safe Schools and a variety of prevention topics
• Crime Prevention through Environmental Design Threat Assessment
• Improving student and staff performance
• Recognition (assemblies, awards and more)
• A Systems Approach to School Leadership
• Webinars for Students -- Empowering Students to Make a Difference
• and many more.

We offer a wide range of sponsorship packages, in addition to custom training packages to fit you and/or your communities’ specific needs. Please contact us at 503-585-3484 to further explore our corporate partnership packages to support our youth and schools. Or, you can simply click on the “contact us” link and address your questions there. We will respond to you with 24 hours during the work week. Hurricane aftermath training will receive first priority in response, and will be reviewed and responded to over the weekends as well.
