Reclaiming Life!
This workbook takes the Lovre Model of Victim-Oriented Intervention and makes it available to adolescents and adults who are victims of trauma. It is designed to be used in conjunction with counseling. Both journaling and drawing are used to allow the survivor process the event, put it into the context of life, give it meaning and move beyond the symptoms of the traumatic reaction. The last portion of the workbook contains the guided imagery script to be read by the counselor to the participant, who can use these images to gain mastery over troubling symptoms.
