Suicide Issues Overview: The greatest indicator of a death by suicide is a previous attempt. Most children who commit suicide gave warning signs that others in their lives missed. Goals: To help all school staff recognize the warning signs of suicide, to learn how to engage the child and earn their trust, to learn intervention strategies and, ultimately, to save lives.
