The All Staff Preparedness package provides a comprehensive foundation in crisis response for your entire staff, and requires minimal staff time. It is designed to fit very brief learning segments into existing staff or department meetings, sprinkled throughout your school year. Available in four levels (see below) and in two formats (DVD or online site license).

CONTENT OF PROGRAM

The kit has 25 separate training segments, each five minutes or less in length, and a CD with accompanying handouts. Hard copies of each handout are also included in the package.

FOUR LEVELS

Level I - Key leadership Access
$ 200 per school

Available in DVD or Online Site License

This level provides passwords to all building counselors and two administrators. Segments can be shown to all staff members during meetings for staff development and also in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy so people have something to go on in the heat of the moment. PDF downloads can be made available to all staff so they each begin compiling a file folder of helpful concepts for use when needed.

Level II - All Staff Access 24/7 $ 300 per school

Available by Online Site License only

This means that, in addition to Level I use, all certified staff members in a building are given a password to the program, so any teacher, counselor or administrator can access any of the 25 segments from home or at work, 24/7. Extremely useful for staff to review when tragedies occur, as they can access them from home in the evening when they get an announcement of a student death. This allows them to mentally prepare for a crisis day prior to the morning meeting. Very reassuring for those teachers who knew the child that died. Segments each come with a handout that covers basic information for future reference.

Level III - Professional Development Package with Leadership Access $ 400 per school

Available in DVD or Online Site License

This level provides passwords to building counselors and two administrators to be used as described in "Key Leadership Access" and also includes a professional development activity to be used to provide skill-building and furthering the level of staff readiness. Activities run from 20 - 30 minutes each. This program is designed such that a counselor could choose eight segments to be shown and the counselor could lead the staff through each coordinating activity after the segment is show, which would create a half-day inservice for school crisis and tragedy response readiness. This could be done three times during the year to use all segments, or counselors/administrators could choose those that would be most helpful for their particular needs.

Level IV - Professional Development Package with All Staff Access 24/7 $ 500 per school

Available by Online Site License only

This level provides all of the above, including full access for all staff to all segments 24/7, plus the professional development activities to be used to take these concepts from ideas, thoughts and knowledge into skills and building capacity for all staff.

ONLINE SITE LICENSES

Easy to administer, you provide us with an excel spread sheet of user information and your passwords are returned to be distributed to those who will have access.

HARD COPY VERSIONS

DVD format includes a clam shell with two discs; a DVD with the 25 five-minute video segments and a CD with pdfs of the handouts. One printed copy of the handouts is also included for Level I. Level III adds a printed copy of activities. Because Levels II and IV provide access to all buildings staff 24/7, it is only available via online format.

GROUP OR LARGE ORDER SPECIAL PRICING
Discounts for "bundles" of 25 or more schools (large districts) or combined orders for several districts (i.e., IUs, BOCES, ESDs or county-wide agencies).

This package requires no special training and each unit is a stand-alone, so administrators, crisis team leaders or counselors can choose to use only a few, several or all segments over a period of time. Several could be grouped together for mini-inservices or partial day workshops, or more of the set could be used for a whole-day training.

This kit or site license, including accompanying handouts, would make an excellent choices for college instructors who teach classes on crisis response, at-risk youth, safe schools issues and violence prevention.

We at CMI strive to make our resources as dynamic and helpful as possible. Please call us with ideas, suggestions or needs. We create programs for individual districts in order to meet specific requests. We look forward to hearing from you.
