Rapid Response Team Training
When lives are at stake, every second counts. The Rapid Response Team training uses the NIMS / ICS model and takes you to the next level up of preparedness and response capacity.
Once the principal has completed the training, appropriate staff are then assigned to Task Units. Those staff then complete the same course.
Once all have been trained, the scenarios are designed to allow key team members to practice critical skills without disrupting learning for students. The principal or administrator in charge boots the scenario up on an iPad or tablet and actually moves through the building as the scenario unfolds in "real time," mobilizing those task unit members s/he would need at that moment. Much more effective than table-top exercises.
