Summer Special!
We are trying something new. You bring together 20 or more trainees for your crisis response team training, and we'll give you the videos for free until
October 15th, 2012. That means that the only cost is for your
participants materials and registration fee. The $150 registration fee
includes the Crisis Resource Manual, the Training Manual and access to
our online team member resources. That's it! That's the only cost.
You can pull your team together for training over the summer or
wait till fall and do after-school sessions. You could use half-day or
whole-day inservice or PD days.
This can be used by a single district or districts can go together in
order to meet the minimum number of trainees. IUs/BOCES/ESDs or other
county-wide education service districts are welcome to use this to train
team members from your entire region.

Flight Team Training
In light of decreasing budgets, CMI has created an online resource for districts to train crisis response teams ("Flight Teams"). This online option provides the opportunity for teams to be trained without missing precious hours when students are present in the building. Led by a facilitator from your district, sessions range from 45 minutes long, 90 minutes, or half days. Training times can easily be scheduled in after-school times over a period of weeks.
This cutting edge series of 20 video series comes with accompanying activities for each segment. A facilitator of your choosing from within your organization shows each 15 minute segment and follows that with small- or large-group activities to take knowledge into skills.
Fees for this training include the following:
- $ 50 per facilitator for the orientation training (webinar)
- $ 2,500 for the training site license (this fee may be shared by several districts)

$ 150 per school building in the district(s) that are participating in the training (includes Crisis Resource Manual for site administrator)

$ 150 per participant for materials (Crisis Resource Manual/Training Manual set)
Our shopping cart can be used to register Facilitators for that part of the training ($ 50 per person).

CMI highly recommends that district or regions that consider this training also budget for one or two video conferences, perhaps one for the starting session and one after completion of the series in order to quickly organize next steps to making the system work quickly and well.
